I painted Storm Bound thinking about those moments when everything feels like it’s about to shift. When you’re not sure what’s coming, but you stand your ground anyway. That quiet kind of strength shows up in nature, and in us too. This piece is a reminder of that, of how we manage to stay rooted, even when the sky gets heavy.
