Artist Statement

Letting go of daily responsibilities now and then is essential to truly savoring life. There’s something transformative about leaning back, taking a deep breath, and soaking in the world around you. It can be a moment of bliss—or, sometimes, a bit overwhelming.

Heatwave is a body of work inspired by my time in Clearwater, Florida, when I allowed myself to let go for a while. The experience was a rush of emotions, reflected in the vibrant oranges, yellows, reds, and deep blues that organically climb and burst across each canvas. This collection is alive with energy and passion, and I hope it lets you feel even a glimpse of what I felt.
